Frequently asked questions
We collect a non-refundable £50 per person deposit on booking.
We ask for the balance payment 3 months before the holiday starts. If you cancel your trip within 3 months, we endeavour to fill your places. If we are able to, we reimburse you everything except the £50 per person.... so the more notice you give us the better!
If we are unable to resell your places, then we are unable to reimburse you, however, for the last 15 years we have always been fully booked, so that is unlikely!
If we have to cancel the trip, for any reason, you will get a 100% refund.
No.. we don't organise flights so we are not ABTOL protected. We are a Tour Operator, registered in the UK and we abide by the Package Travel Regulations Act 2018.
We keep any money that you pay us in a separate and secure account until the trip is complete and fully paid for. That way, if we have to cancel or reimburse you for any reason, we are able to refund you in full without any delay.
Yes, since 2008, all of our trips have been vegetarian, however, we do serve meat on request. We cater to ALL dietery requirements so we can provide vegan food on our holidays as well as cater for food allergies and intolerances. We are very 'Health Aware'! Our lead chef is a Natropath and Gut Biome Expert. We try to stike a balance between providing super healthy and popular foods.
You are welcome to make suggestions and requests but please do this 3 weeks before the start of the holiday.
Absolutely! We love all children and they are all welcome. We find that our trips are very nurturing for neuro-divergent and children with mental health issues. Please give us heads up in the Booking Form so that we can ensure we are sensitive to everyone's needs and the balance of the group.
100%! We welcome everyone on our trips. Our trips are perfect for Single Parent, LGBT and blended families. We actively seek to create a warm, nurturing and safe environment in which everyone feels seen, honoureed and celebrated for exactly who they are.
We usually have around 14 guests each week; around 4 families. We hire a chalet that sleeps a max of 16 for our Family Adventure Holiday in Samoens, The French Alps. There are 2 x 4 bedded family rooms and 4 x twin/ doubles.
Yes. We recommend that everyone has travel insurance that covers them for all of the activities that they would like to try. We also recommend that UK travellers get a free Global Health Insurance Card that gives them state Health Cover in Europe: https://www.gov.uk/global-health-insurance-card
Absolutely! Immersion is the best way to learn a language. I thoroughly recommend this holiday for any famillies who would like their children (or themselves) to have a safe, fun English Language immersion experience. We are still in touch with a family whose children learnt fluent English by coming on our trips year 4 years in a row.
